Importing a Wurlitzer Jukebox. Useful information.

1), Our History : Jukeboxes Direct Ltd has been trading for 24 years, is Britains largest officially appointed Wurlitzer jukebox dealer and has a unique overseas trading history developed from selling hundreds of Wurlitzer jukeboxes to the huge British expatriate market in Spain and Portugal and the experience gained from doing so. Apart from Spain and Portugal we have also exported Wurlitzer jukeboxes to the Far East, the Middle East and Northern Europe.

2), Reliability: The modern Wurlitzer jukebox, as ever, is built to the highest standards for playing music in restaurants, clubs and bars 24/7. Much higher standards than the average household use which 90% of today’s jukeboxes are subjected to. As an impressive piece of furniture, (an art form say many), and a really superb sound system; most jukeboxes are now sold into the home. In overseas countries they come with a one year parts only guarantee. The voltage can be adjusted for different levels. Read on.

3), Faults and Problems: In the event of a problem do not worry. We will always help no matter how long you have owned the jukebox. A modern Wurlitzer jukebox, whilst very sophisticated in it’s potential use, ( coin operation/free play, compendium, or single play, background music, up to four extra speakers can be added, microphone, etc, etc), is built in a modular construction or form, ( as is much of today’s computerised machinery), In simple terms if a fault does occur it is usually a matter of unplugging & swapping “boxes“. If you can use a screw driver, or know someone who can; no problem.

Preferably a telephone call to us, or an email describing the problem in detail, is usually sufficient for our experts to diagnose the fault and advise on how to unplug the wires, unscrew the offending box and send it back to us for testing and exchange. Any other problems, bubble tubes, or lights, or switches not working can be handled by your local electrician. We are always there to advise.

4), Shipping/freight: This can be organised by you, or us. Shipping rates change all the time so a quotation will have to be obtained for either sea, or air, or maybe road transport. Most freight companies require a full address and postcode, weights and dimensions of the palletised jukebox. Insurance can either be arranged by you, or us. We do recommend it.

5), Value Added Tax: As a general rule 17.5% VAT is included to EEC destinations. It can be excluded if the client is registered for VAT in his/her own EEC country and can provide proof. Destinations outside EEC can be dealt with VAT free, or VAT refunded, if a copy of shipping details is provided afterwards.

6), Payment: IBANK transfer is the preferred method. On receipt of a purchase order we will supply bank transfer details.
